Co-founder Lauren Feiner brings her background in interior, product design and branding to the launch of Shop Saturday. Her own Feiner Goods line is featured on the site, including furniture and accessories created using unique vintage and global textiles, a particular area of expertise. Her aesthetic is pure Los Angeles, intertwining indoor and outdoor living with a mix of design styles and ethnicities. Lauren has worked at design and architecture firms on numerous residential, commercial and hospitality spaces, as well as in the field of advertising. Lauren previously ran the vintage textiles and floor coverings categories at One Kings Lane, where she started on the same day as Emily.
Co-founder Emily Fox's experience marketing, merchandising and buying for the arts comes together in Shop Saturday. She brings a history of launching consumer brands both in the US and internationally, having worked in content, social media and strategy. Emily's Materia concept store focuses on contemporary Mexican artisanal design. She highlights products that interpret traditional materials in new ways, from designers and communities who are re-imagining artisanal techniques for today's lifestyle. Emily was previously on both the vintage decorative accessories and Integrated Merchandising teams at One Kings Lane, where she started on the same day as Lauren.
